Well when it rains it pours.
Dad is gone this weekend, and we miss him!
Unfortunately Tornado woke up with what appears to be a virus, and it's always a sad feeling to see one of the little ones feeling under the weather. Hopefully he will be better soon, and back to his active self. But in the meantime it's beef and noodles and listening to "The House At Pooh Corner" on tape.
Lovely book.
Right now I'm not in a very good mood.
Today is the two week anniversary of our washing machine being broken. Trying to make do in a family of six with no washing machine is getting irritating since Dad is the only one who can go to the laundromat. It seems like we've had 10 times more spills than on the average week.
We called the landlord the Monday after Thanksgiving (the washing machine just HAD to give out on Thanksgiving day) and we were told that they would handle it and send a repair man over A.S.A.P.
Finally yesterday we get the bumbling repair guy we always get, and he spends a long time downstairs and comes up scratching his head and leaves.
Then we get a call saying that we won't be getting a service call till next week.
Great.
Let's go count quarters for Dad's next laundromat
run....when he comes home...
"WWWAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

Hi morgan,
Oh I am so sorry your washing machine is having a sickie! If only I could offer to help do you washing for you.....but alas I live thousands of miles away. I pray that it can be fixed and that you can get to the laundromat in the meantime.
Just wanted to stop by and say hi.
I am going to be scarce for a bit with Christmas etc. Having my married son, his wife and our baby grandaughter coming to stay. Can't wait.
Much love and blessings to you and yours for a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.
hugs Sandra nz
So sorry, Morgan,...and praying.
Our dishwasher gave out a few months ago, and it was awful! So I understand. I hope this gets fixed quick!
I'm sorry to hear about that. I hope your dad comes home soon.
